My wife and I approach life differently. I usually like to do things fast and sometimes get annoyed when she goes at her own pace. On the other hand, sometimes when she goes through something methodically, she picks up on things I miss. The book Different Drummers offers a credible explanation of how such different personality types can better mesh. Do my wife and I always get along perfectly in this regard? Maybe not always. But I can say that my wife heartily enjoyed reading Different Drummers and appreciates that this book better explains my behavior and shows a pathway toward better harmony between us.
